Where can I live?

There are many different residential areas in Växjö municipality. With the help of the map, and in the lists below, you can find more information about them.

Moving around on the map

Hold the cursor over the map, hold down the left mouse button, and slowly move the cursor to change your position on the map. Release the mouse button and press again to refresh the map.

Zooming

Use the “plus”- and “minus” buttons to zoom in or out on the map. You can also double-click when you have the cursor on the map.

Information on the housing company

Click on a colored area for more information on a specific area. A window will open with a link that takes you on to the company’s website.

The different accessibility levels are used to give an overview of the accessibility in the area and the entrance to the home. It is important that you, as an applicant, visit and look at the apartment before signing a lease.

Level 0

No inventory of the area has been made.

Level 1

The entrance works for people who can use stairs without using walking aids, possibly a cane, but who may have difficulties with balance and who may have impaired vision.

Level 2

The entrance works for people who can use stairs with a walker and are able to lift the walker up a maximum of three (3) steps.

Level 3

The entrance works for people who can use stairs with a walker but cannot lift the walker up stairs and who need to take the walker in through the entrance.

Level 4

The entrance works for people who cannot use stairs and who use a walker or wheelchair.

Level 5

The entrance works for people who cannot use stairs and who use a walker or wheelchair which must be brought all the way into the home.
